These twins were the cutest, sweetest, sleepiest little guys I have worked with in a while.  I hadn’t had the chance to photograph newborn twins in a few years, and these little guys were such a treat!  A friend of mine, who is also a photographer, came over and helped out with the session. We had such a great time snuggling these little cuties.   They were both about 6 1/2 pounds at birth, which is a pretty decent size.  Aside from eating, they pretty much slept the entire time they were with us.

These little guys will grow up to be best friends, and I think that bond is just the sweetest thing on earth.  All siblings have a very sweet relationship, and I love capturing that, but there is definitely something unique in the bond that multiples share.  I don’t have any multiples myself, but all 4 of my kids are pretty close together in age.  My kids right now are 2, 4.5, nearly 7, and 8 years old.  My oldest 2, both boys, used to get asked if they were twins so often that they thought they were.  They are the best of friends, and each others worst enemy most of the time.  They are so competitive, but often if one isn’t home, have no idea what to do without the other.  My younger two are 2.5 years apart, but are the same way…they pick on each other, but are completely lost without each other.

Photo sessions for multiples are pretty much the same as single birth newborn sessions except for a few things.  I try to allow for a little bit more time for multiples, because there are two babies that will need to take feeding breaks.  For single birth photo sessions, I usually allow 1-3 hours of shooting time…multiple sessions I allow 2-4 hours of shooting time.  The prep is the same, and the studio is still super warm, but there are two babies to tweak, shush, and pat back to sleep!  If you’re in the Atlanta area, and are expecting multiples, or know someone who is, I would love the opportunity to take their newborn photos!  To contact me about pricing, click here.
