In the fall, I had the chance to capture this Adorable Family Session.  We met at a lake nearby, and spent most of our time trying to keep up with cute Mr. Clyde.  Remember when I did Abigail’s sitter session here? Well, the rest of her family is JUST as cute.  Having a bunch of kids in a few short years myself, I am partial to families that are just as nutty as we are.  Keeps me on my toes!

Since it was a little more cold and windy than we anticipated on this day, it didn’t work to put poor Abigail into a sleeveless romper for sitter pictures.  We just slid those to a different date, and got the family pictures we needed.  Having kids this close together is so much fun, and it’s also such a blur. I’m so glad that when our kids were younger, we splurged and got some family photos to capture the insanity!

Adorable Family Session

With kids this age, it’s not that easy to “plan” how a session will go.  The things I try to take into consideration when photographing kids that are 4, 2, and 8 months are things like, places where there might be a little room for them to run if they need a break.  Another thing I like to be mindful of is will the location be crowded or not.  If it is, I find that to be distracting to young kids, so I try to pick places that won’t be that busy.
