Atlanta Newborn Photographer

As an Atlanta Newborn Photographer, I get the chance to snuggle some of Atlanta’s CUTEST new residents.  Cooper was right around 2 weeks old when he came to my studio for his newborn session.  There are so many things I love about newborn babies. Baby toes, baby smiles, and babies with hair are among some of my favorite things!  Babies change so quickly. With my first child, we didn’t even think about trying to do any “newborn” pictures until he was nearly 7 weeks old.  He already looked so different than he had when he was born. By the time he was 4 months old, again, he looked like a totally different baby.  I love being able to capture this short phase for my clients.

The best time to book your newborn session is during your 2nd or 3rd trimester.  I only have a few days a week that I am currently able to offer newborn sessions.  The ideal time to do a newborn session is during the first 3 weeks of life.  I tend to prefer the first 7-16 days, but I realize that not everything with a newborn can be planned.   To schedule your own newborn session, you can click here to contact me.

How to prepare for your newborn session

When you book me to be your Atlanta Newborn Photographer,  in addition to access to my extensive collection of props, including blankets, wraps, bonnets, hats, rompers, headbands and pants for boys and girls, I will also send you a parent prep letter the day or two before your session.  The parent prep letter has a few tips that I like to send parents to help prepare baby for their newborn session.  The babies whose parents follow the parent prep letter usually end up being the easiest babies to work with, and sleep the best.   Call me to set up your newborn session today.
