Atlanta Baby Photographer

Milestone sessions are quickly becoming one of my favorite types of sessions to offer as an Atlanta baby photographer.  Miss Mary Katherine was about 4 months old when she came to me for her milestone session.  What a doll she is!  This is such a fun age because babies are interacting, but not stranger danger hasn’t set in just yet.  Unlike newborn sessions, milestone sessions are generally pretty quick too!  Newborn sessions can last anywhere from 2-3 hrs, and milestone sessions are usually closer to 45 minutes.

When to book your milestone session

While milestone sessions can be done anytime you’d like, most of my clients do milestone sessions at 4, 8, and 12 months, or 3, 6, 9, 12, or just 6, and 12 months.  I love documenting babies as they grow and getting to see how much they change in the course of a year.  It’s truly one of my favorite things about being an Atlanta baby photographer.  I offer milestone sessions alone, but I also have first year package, that include either 3 or 4 (your choice) sessions in the course of a year.  Kids grow so quickly, and I love being able to capture how much they change in that first year.

I typically only do newborn and milestone sessions during the week, and do tend to book up fairly quickly.  Contacting me at least a few weeks before you’d like to do your milestone session is the most ideal.  For newborns, anywhere from the 2nd-3rd trimesters of pregnancy are good.  To contact me for your session, simply click here and fill out my contact form.

I keep my studio fairly well stocked with great options for clothes for newborn, 6, and 12 month sessions.  I am constantly updating my studio closet, so if you have something in mind, touch base with me prior to your session and we can plan your outfits accordingly.
