Atlanta Maternity Photographer

I absolutely love getting to know the families I photograph as an Atlanta Maternity Photographer. This sweet family is no different. I actually photographed Gabe, now 2, for his newborn session. His mama and I became instant friends, and I have so enjoyed capturing his first year, and now the anticipation of him becoming a big brother!

This is one of my favorite spots for family photographs. I love the buildings, and the farm feel that this location has to offer. It’s also in a great location, right by the Avenues of West Cobb.

How beautiful is this sweet Mama? She’s one of the most funny people I know.

What about the weather?

There are many times as an Atlanta Maternity Photographer that I need to make alternate plans because of the weather. For that reason, when I am scheduling maternity sessions, I try to do so with enough time for at least 1 reschedule if we need it. This evening, there had been storms, and the weather was fairly iffy, but we decided to go for it. I’m so glad we did. I love how the sky looked in these pictures. When scheduling outdoor pictures, it’s good to keep in mind that we may need to tweak things a bit due to the weather.

Mom and first baby…

I just love how cute this set turned out of my friend and her sweet first born. I love being able to capture how sweet their dynamic was. Gabe will always be her first, but after the baby comes, he’ll never be her only again. I so remember this time with my own kids. Such a sweet time.

When should I schedule my maternity session?

I get asked this often. You should schedule your Atlanta maternity photographer session for anytime between 27-34 weeks. I prefer to aim for around 32 weeks so that I have a little wiggle room if we are doing an outdoor shoot and need to reschedule. Babies often have a mind of their own when it comes to arriving!
