Roswell Family Photographer

As a Roswell family photographer, I get to do fun things like romp around local battlefields with this fun gang! I do love photographing newborns, but this was a super nice change of pace! No one pooped on me, or cried the entire time we were together. This session also gave me great hope for getting decent photos of my own kids one day! Right now I feel like it’s a blooper reel when we try to take pictures…out of 4 kids, I may have 1 or 2 that look my direction, while the other 2 roll their eyes, demand for the pictures to be finished, or growl at me for having the nerve to try to photograph them again! Maybe in 4-5 more years we’ll just walk right outside, snap a few pictures, and have a winner..easy as pie!

While I photograph newborns in studio most of the time, I prefer to do family sessions on location. This can be at your house, at a favorite park, or some other fun destination that we choose. I have several locations that I love in mind, but am definitely open to explore new places if you have something in mind as well! I do my family sessions either early in the morning, or near sunset when the light is at it’s best. I usually reserve 1-2 hours for family sessions, so that I can be sure to get to know everyone and put your kiddos at ease. We usually play around, take a few pictures, find more fun spots to play around and take a few more pictures. I try to keep everything as easy and informal as possible.
