Kennesaw Family Photographer

I have so much fun being a Kennesaw family photographer. I had a great time photographing this adorable family a few days ago. Wasn’t the lighting amazing?! Finding great light is one of the things I enjoy most about being a photographer. Lighting can make so much of a difference in how a session turns out. If the lighting is dull, the picture has a totally different feeling than if it is bright and golden. I love golden light. The best light of the day is going to be sunrise, or sunset. For obvious reasons, I prefer to do my family sessions at sunset. This session is no exception! We met at sunset, and since these kiddos not only happen to be my kids ages AND are their friends, we had a great time romping around in the woods looking for our next fun spot to do pictures.

What to expect for your family session

Most sessions last anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Generally, I find that younger kids are happier with quicker sessions. We play, we move areas, and do everything we can do to get the best pictures possible of your cuties for your session. How we met

I really enjoy getting to photograph my friends with their sweet kiddos. My oldest son is in the same class as this families oldest boy, and our daughters go to the same preschool together. I totally get this phase in life. The kids are so hit or miss with agreeability to doing family photos. And don’t even get me started on dads! This dad was great…but some dads, my husband included, would rather have a root canal than do family pictures! I try my best to keep things moving, keep things light, and finish up fast!
