Marietta Newborn Portraits

I love getting to take Marietta newborn portraits. Baby TJ was the sweetest little guy.  However, he was not at all sleepy.  Super chill little guy, but he was wide awake for the first 3 hours of his session.  He slept the last 20 mins.  Luckily, when he finally did sleep, he slept hard!  This brings me to a great point.  Many of my clients, particularly the dads, don’t understand why it takes 2-3 hours to complete a newborn session.  The reason it takes 2-3 hours to do a newborn session is because sometimes, it takes that long for baby to eat, be full, and settle down in to a nice deep sleep.  Once they’re in a nice, deep sleep, I can do what I need to do usually within a matter of 30-60 minutes.  It’s pretty awesome 🙂

TJ finally did sleep, and slept well enough for me to get some beautiful images of him for his parents.  TJ’s big sister was also super adorable and doting on her baby brother.  I love getting to do a few family shots along with newborn sessions.  I do usually suggest to parents, that we try to do the family shots at the beginning of the session, and then send Dad and siblings off to do something fun so that we have a nice, quiet environment for baby for the session.

Different services I provide

If you’re considering booking a newborn session, you may be wondering what you get with that.  Not all of my clients request a consultation prior to their session, but I am more than happy to offer one.  This helps put your mind at ease.  Come see my studio space, what types of products I offer, and meet me in person.  It’s important for new parents to feel comfortable with their choice for a newborn photographer. Anything I can do to help ease my clients minds, I am happy to do.

Then there’s the session.  The session is pretty self explanatory. I do try to style which blankets and props I’d like to use at the session, so I generally ask what colors are in the nursery, are there any colors we want to focus on, or not.

After the session, I put the images from your session in a gallery and email them to you.  From there, you can order them with me online, or I am happy to meet in person to go over the order.

My base pricing can be seen here.  I also offer a variety of studio products such as prints, canvases, albums, and accordion mini albums and am happy to discuss pricing on those as well.

If you’re in the Atlanta area and looking for a photographer, I’d be happy to talk to you.
