These twin sisters made my job as an Atlanta twin photographer so easy. Look how beautiful they are!  They aren’t identical but do favor each other quite a bit! They slept so well, and were just the sweetest babies. Plus, look at all that hair!

Parent Shots

Parent poses/shots are included in my newborn sessions.  I do have a lot of parents that say they are too tired, and would rather not be photographed.  I totally understand that. BUT…look how precious these parents are with their new babies!  I encourage new parents to at least do a couple of pictures with their newborns.  If you don’t love them, don’t print them, but if you do love them, you’ll have beautiful pictures of your babies at this fleeting stage.

How Twin Sessions Work

Believe it or not, I used to be TERRIFIED of photographing newborn twins.  Two babies, one me…YIKES! Once I tried it a few times, I got more and more comfortable, and now multiples are one of my favorite types of sessions.  Twins tend to be less “touchy” when messed with, which works great for me!  I personally, like to do parent shots first, with swaddled babies.  Then I do a couple of “prop” shots, while babies are still swaddled.  After that, I do my regular poses. I start with one baby, get that shot, add in the second baby, get that shot, and then take away the first baby.  We stop as needed to break for food and snuggles.

This little “tucked in ” pose has become one of my favorite poses for twin or single baby sessions.  It’s so simple, and so sweet. I just love it!

Each session, I try to get a variety of macro types of shots to capture those tiny details. This sweet girl had eyelashes for days!
