Newborn Photographer Atlanta

As newborn photographer Atlanta, I get to meet Atlanta’s newest and cutest residents.  Adira was an absolute dream baby!  I mean, just LOOK at her!  From the moment she arrived for her session, until I handed her back to her parents she slept.  Normally, I allow 3 hours for newborn sessions, and Adira did so great for me, that I only needed about 2 hours for her.  All of my clients get a “parent prep letter” and I am convinced her parents must have followed it to the letter!

What a session looks like…

Adira was around 10 days old when she came to see me.  Just like with all of the babies I photograph as a newborn photographer Atlanta,  I started her session on the beanbag doing more “posed” set ups, and then moved to swaddles, and then bowls and beds.

This has become one of my favorite positions.  It’s so sweet and relaxed looking. I just love it!

Look at her sweet little toes peeking out!  One of my favorite things to capture in a newborn session is their tiny details.  Babies grow SO fast.  Within a month, they look completely different than they did when they were born.

My overall style with newborns, and all of my photography, really, is very organic.  I like to use cute, simple outfits, or pants, with a pretty headband.  It is my job to capture your baby, as beautifully and simply as possible.

This is another one of my favorite positions because they just look so comfy and snuggly.

Swaddling is something I have come to love. I used to only swaddle babies if I was having trouble getting them to sleep.  I love how a swaddle looks in pictures, and it keeps baby comfy for a little bit longer if they’re starting to stir.

I love how her little arm is just dangling over the side of this bowl.  She is such a beautiful, sweet girl!

This might be my favorite image from her entire session.  Just look at those cheeks and lips!

I just happened to have these tulips in my kitchen in a vase and thought they’d look good with her.  I absolutely love how this turned out.

Other details about booking a session

There are a few things you should know if you’re considering booking a newborn session with me.  I currently do not offer newborn sessions on the weekend. I offer newborn sessions Monday-Friday starting at 9:30 and ending at 12:45.  I am only able to take 1 session per day, and try not to take more than 2 per week.  I love newborns, and hate telling clients that I can’t fit them in.  If you’d like to be on my calendar for a newborn session, it is best to schedule with me 4-12 weeks in advance. To book a session with me, you can click here to fill out my contact form.
