One of the things that I love the most about being a Marietta Newborn Photographer, is getting the chance to meet and snuggle cute little babies like Madison.   Like most of the babies that I photograph, Madison was under 2 weeks old when I did her newborn session.  I love having the opportunity to capture sweet details for new parents. Details like flaky newborn skin on their tiny feet, and sweet sleeping faces.

When to Book Your Newborn Session

It is always best to book your newborn session as soon as you can.  Usually anytime in the 2nd or early 3rd trimesters are great.  I am a mom to 4 kids, so I balance my business with my personal life.  This means I can only take a certain number of newborn sessions at any given time.  Once you book your newborn session, I will pencil your due date on my calendar.  As soon as you’ve had the baby, or have an induction date scheduled, just let me know, and we’ll pick a date within the next 2-3 weeks that works for everyone.

Newborn sessions usually last around 2-3 hours.  A lot of this depends on how sleepy the baby is, and how often we need to stop to take feeding breaks.  I make sure there is enough extra time allowed in my schedule for plenty of food and snuggle breaks for baby and mom.
