Being an Atlanta senior photographer means I get to see young men and women on the brink of their futures, and let me tell you, it’s exciting!

This one, though, has a special place in my heart. Kyra is my favorite babysitter for my kids. She is just amazing with my kids and I know they’re in excellent hands with her. And her photos are incredible!

Kyra played soccer in high school, and even when she’s not babysitting, I love hanging out with her. She is just a great kid all around!

When should you schedule your Atlanta senior photography session?

Senior photos are typically taken in the spring of the student’s junior year or during the summer between junior and senior year. These photos are used for everything from the yearbook to graduation invitations, so you want them done in plenty of time for those things.

As an Atlanta senior photographer, I’m often booked a couple of months out. I recommend reaching out early to schedule your senior’s session.

What to wear & other tips

I love to capture the graduate’s personality in their photos. Each session includes 2 outfit changes, and I always suggest choosing outfits that you think best reflect who you are. I am more than happy to offer suggestions or opinions, if you need a little guidance, but as long as you choose outfits that showcase your personality, you’ll be good to go.

Atlanta senior photographer sessions typically last about an hour and a half. I offer a variety of locations for you to choose from. If we shoot outdoors, I like to schedule sessions for early or late in the day to take advantage of the perfect lighting.

Finally, if you’re wearing makeup for your photos, you may want to either have your hair and makeup done professionally or apply your makeup with a slightly heavier hand than usual. This will help ensure that you look your absolute best!
