Sweet Emma came to visit me for her newborn session in the studio a recently and she was a dream. Being a newborn photographer, I get a pretty good mix of babies and I never know what to expect. Since Miss Emma is the 5th baby in her family, she was so easy going and laid back. I happen to be friends with Emma’s mama, and was a little nervous because every picture I had seen of her so far, she was wide awake! Wide awake babies, and posed newborn photography don’t always go hand in hand…but she did great! She settled right in, and slept like the little dream that she is! Oh, but not so little…weighing in at 10 lbs 2 ounces at birth!
Preparing for your newborn session
One of the most common questions I get asked by my clients is ” how do we prepare for our newborn session?” I have everything I need to photograph your baby. You are welcome to bring a few props of your own. I do try to warn people that I buy my props newborn vendors that specialize in newborn props. Often, other things will end up being a bit to big for a brand new baby. I am also constantly adding to my collection of props so that I can have new and unique things to offer my clients. I have diapers here, wipes, blankets, back drops, hats, bonnets, headbands, and new pacifiers just in case you got out without one. The only 2 things I need clients to bring when they come to my house are a baby, and milk! That’s it! Just put your feet up and let me worry about the rest of it! I promise your little one will be in great hands!
I am currently booking sessions from now until the end of the year. To view my pricing and contact me click here. I would be honored to be your photographer, and am more than happy to answer any questions you may have about scheduling a session with me
